From December 2nd to 5th, the 2018 Annual Academic Conference of the International Research Center for Thermodynamics and Engineering of Tianjin University of Commerce was held at Tianjin Saixiang Hotel. Vice President Qi Enping attended the meeting, Academician Tao Wenzhao of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Academician Khellil Sefiane of the University of Edinburgh, Professor Zhang Xing of Tsinghua University, Professor Rachid Bennacer of the French Normal University of Paris, Professor Liu Qiusheng of the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Director of Chip Cooling Department of Fujitsu, Japan More than 60 scholars from home and abroad participated in the research.

It introduces the school's educational philosophy and basic situation, and shares the development orientation, talent team and infrastructure construction, and academic exchanges of the International Center for Thermodynamics and Engineering.
The conference centered on multi-scale cooling technology, phase change and unstable two-phase flow in microchannels, droplet evaporation kinetics, internal gradient convection induced by interface gradient, heat and mass transfer enhancement of absorption chiller, liquid film condensation and evaporation process, etc. And the experts at the meeting conducted in-depth exchanges and explorations.
After the meeting, some experts attended the International Research Center for Thermodynamics and Engineering of Tianjin University of Commerce, which provided many valuable opinions for the development of the center.
