The International Center in Fundamental and Engineering Thermophysics was established in 2017 by our school and professors from the University of Edinburgh and the University of Paris, France. Since its inception, significant progress has been made in interface research, including droplet evaporation, boiling and energy utilization, and has successfully participated in the “thermal smart” project of the EU Horizon-2020, and jointly published 17 SCI papers.
In order to effectively connect and utilize global scientific and technological innovation resources, strengthen scientific and technological open cooperation. In June 2018, the Tianjin Science and Technology Bureau launched the identification of the Tianjin International Science and Technology Cooperation Base in 2018. After evaluation, the International Center was identified as the fourth batch of international scientific and technological cooperation bases in Tianjin.
The goal of the center is to create a favorable environment for opening up and cooperation, to promote the internationalization of power engineering and engineering thermophysics, to form an international research center with the participation of related disciplines, comprehensive promotion through multiple channels and mutual promotion in various forms, and to gradually build an international scientific research base with leading technology, gathering talents and leading demonstration.
